Mostafizur Rahaman completed his MS (Research) and PhD from IIT Kharagpur as a Prime Minister's Research Fellow, working on quantum algorithms for structured Hamiltonian operators and their applications in signal processing. His current research is focused on quantum simulation, quantum optimization, and quantum machine learning on near-term hardware. He is also interested in quantum communication and information-theoretic aspects of quantum systems.
